You do get breaks every 5 minutes which I really enjoyed even if they were only a few seconds The program is broken down into 2 months, 5 workouts a week. Needless to say, I found myself pacing myself at first but eventually got the hang of it. You will never make it through a run if you go out as hard as you can at the beginning. The first thing I tell all my clients when they start a running program is to start slow and pace yourself. As a runner, this was a hard concept for me to wrap my brain around.
